I read some fic!

I don't usually make fanfic recommendations, because I don't read nearly as much fic as I'd like to these days, and the stuff I do read has normally been well rec'd already. That said, if you're not already, you should go and read mina_de_malfois.

It's not technically fanfiction, but a cleverly written satire of fandom. Being mostly a lurker in a limited number of fandoms, a lot of it goes over my head (which is where the handy footnotes come in), but I still know enough to be amused by the meta-ness of it all. Plus, it's just a good story.

And if you can't be bothered to read it, well then there's a podcast as well.
